Join the celebrations as the Queen’s Baton Relay comes to Palm Beach on Tuesday 3 April.

The Baton relay will commence at 9:39am, with festivities at Laguna Park from 9am – 12pm including live music, food and fun activities for all the family to enjoy.

The relay is a Games tradition that celebrates the Commonwealth’s diversity, inspires community pride and excites people about the world-class festival of sports and culture to come.

Food trucks, craft beers, live music, free family fun and the great outdoors … sounds like a recipe for a pretty great Sunday afternoon if you ask us! Oh, did we mention it was free? Well, it is! Hook, Line & Food Trucks is being put on by the brilliant minds behind Gold Coast Food Trucks so you can be guaranteed there will be a pretty decent spread of fare to choose from. The festivities kick off from 1:00 pm in Damien Leeding park in Oxenford so roll out a rug and enjoy sweet sets from Felicity Lawless and The Twine. Trust us when we say this event will have you hook, line and sinker.

This festival has a great family feel with so much to see and do. There will be a busking competition with over $1000 in prizes, so if your a budding entertainer..come along! The Twine play throughout the day, and will also be hosting the Busking Comp Concert on Sunday at midday till 3pm. Come along!
